COUSINS!

My sister and brother in law were out here visiting this weekend and Sam was SO excited to see her cousins!

She talked about them coming the whole week before they got here!

Monday night we had everyone over to our house for a little BBQ.

The kids had so much fun playing together! It made me sad that they live so far away, I know Sam would have the best time growing up with her cousins around!

Busy Busy!

We have had a busy couple days around here! 

Sunday we took the girls to the lake with some friends. It was such a nice day! Sam of course wanted nothing to do with the water, but she still had fun.

AND she survived her first bee sting! She was so brave about it- I was very proud of her :)

Go Sadie Go!

Just wanted to show off Sadie's skills!  I swear she JUST learned to stand by herself and now look at her go!!

Take note of the screaming towards the middle/end- that is BOTH of them. They find it hilarious to screech like that back and forth. OMG it hurts your ears! LOL

Summer Time!!

Woot! It is FINALLY warming up around here! I am pretty sure yesterday was the first day of Summer and the weather was gorgeous! 

After work the girls and I headed outside and just hung out!

Both of these girls LOVE to be outside. We will be spending many hours out there this summer!!



And Sadie LOVES when Sam pushes her! She gets so excited and squeals with excitement! So cute!

Sam is getting pretty good at riding this bike too. She is not the best at turning the wheels yet, but she is starting to get the hang of it!

And Sam's latest obsession- JUMPING. Off EVERYTHING. No joke.

We had a great first night of summer playing outside! Looking forward to many more to come!

As most of you know, my sister and I lost our jobs as our company moved our position to Texas... and we didn't want to move. At first I was sad, then I was happy because I thought I would be able to stay home for awhile with the girls. But... doesn't look like I planned correctly and now I don't think I will be able to stay home with them :( Its a hard pill to swallow. I had really gotten my hopes up and had plans for a great summer with them and enjoying some quality time for about a year, but I guess now I just have to squeeze everything in at night when I can. I feel bad because I had told Sam I wouldn't be working anymore and I would get to stay with her, but at least I know she loves being with my mom too. Have to look at the bright side, right? (I just keep telling myself that to keep from crying. I am really having a hard time with this!)

But enough of me moping... Life isn't always fair.

Relay For Life and A New Baby

Last weekend my friends and I participated in the Relay For Life Walk.

It was so much fun and I am so glad we participated. Next year we plan to be a little more organized and do more fundraising. This year it kind of snuck up on us!

My friend Kim and I walked the track with our kiddos plus 2 of our friends' little girls since they were working the registration booth.  Sam and Emma had a blast running around the track! And those little girls can run! By the end of the time, they had ran about 2 miles!

Here are all the kids pumped up for the Relay! At one point we had 4 kiddos in the stroller! LOL!



Also my BFF Lindsey had her baby girl!  They were planning on naming her Maya, but at the last minute changed it to Macy!  I took the girls over to her house last week to meet baby Macy for the first time!

Sam, of course, was in LOVE! All she wanted to do was sit on the couch and hold her. So sweet!

And Sadie really loved the baby too! She was trying to climb up Sams legs when Sam was holding her! And she got so mad when I took Macy away from her! LOL

Hard to believe it was already almost 10 months ago since Sadie was that small {smaller, actually!}. Its just a reminder that time goes by too fast!

Memorial Day- Part 2 *sort of*

So I had originally posted Part 1 of Memorial Day Weekend thinking I was going to take a ton of pictures that weekend and it would be too much for one post....

well, that didn't happen. We had a BBQ with friends and I was having so much fun with our friends, I forgot to get the camera out and take pictures!

Sadie also learned something new... she went from just learning how to stand at the table to being able to walk around it! I have a feeling she is going to take after Sam... she won't crawl but she will be an early walker!

And finally- a couple pictures from breakfast the other day. Sadie LOVES bread... I don't think she gets too much in her mouth, but she loves ripping it apart and sucking on it!
