Sadie Mae is here!

I am sure you all have heard by now, but Sadie is here! She was born on Wednesday 8/18 at 1:54 pm! She was 6 lbs even (well, technically she was 5 lbs 15.6 oz but they rounded up to 6 lbs) and 19 inches long with a FULL head of dark hair! She is simply amazing!! Any fear that I had about not being able to love another baby as much as Sam disappeared as soon as I laid eyes on her! It really is true that your love multiplies with each child, you dont have to split it up! She is a great baby and a sleeper- just like Sam was! And Sam. Oh Sam is just the cutest thing on the planet with her sister. She LOVES her sister so much- it brings tears to your eyes when you watch her. She just wants to sit and hold her and she studies her hands, and fingers and gives the best kisses to her. And she has also asked where Sadie's earrings are and she told us we needed to paint Sadie's finger nails. LOL.

We are getting released in just a couple hours, and I cannot wait to get home and watch Sam interract with Sadie in her own environment. I also cant wait to get back to the 'normal' of being home.

Here are some pis from the last couple days.

Last day with my 'only'

So today is the last day with Sam as my only child. I have been such an emotional wreck all day today! I just keep looking at Sam and tearing up. I know she is going to be a great big sister, but I cant help but worry she is going to resent us for bringing this new baby into the house. She is such a mommy's girl that I worry how she will take the new addition. I know deep down everything will be fine and I cant wait to see Sam hold Sadie, but I am still having a hard time today. I guess its all those pregnancy hormones finally coming out! LOL

Since it is her last day as the only child, we went out for mani/pedis. She did great!

She sat with my mom to get her nails done. LOVE the smile on her face!!

She is napping now and I am just finishing up some things around the house. I have waited till the last minute for everything- I havent even packed yet! haha!

So tomorrow is the big day. Sadie Mae will be joining our family. And I am so excited to meet her. I will honestly miss having Sam as my only, but I know the times ahead are going to be just as great, if not better. Hopefully I can get some rest tonight because we all know sleeping will be a thing of the past after tomorrow! :)

Just some cuteness...

Not much going on around here. I am supposed to be taking it easy so Sadie can hang out and bake a little longer, but thats a lot harder than it sounds! I hate just sitting around doing nothing, and it seems my 2 year old has the same problem. She is constantly wanting to "go walking", "go shopping", "go to the mall"... lol.

Here we are going on one of our walks. With Baby, and a balloon.

This is a little gift I gave her at my shower. It is a carrier for her doll. I thought she might like it once I have Sadie, that way we can both carry our babies together. She loves it. We had to bring this to Target with us. And she had to wear it into Target as well. LOL. She got a lot of attention walking around wearing her baby! And she loved it all! :)

Here she wanted to show her baby Baby Sadies room, and she was annoyed I wasnt following her. She told me "No say cheese. Come on!" haha!

And this weekend she was playing in her room. I went to check on her and this is how she was sitting. LOL! Is she not the cutest kid ever?? LOVE this girl!

ITS DONE! YAY!

They laid the sod and planted a couple trees today and it looks like a yard again! I cant believe how much nicer it looks now than it did 2 weeks ago. We just need to wait until the fall to fill in the planters with flowers- but for now it is all done! I love it.

And in other news- I hit 36 weeks today! Almost done! In fact- I will probably be done sooner than we originally planned. Sadie is not growing as well as they would like, so I go back next week for another ultrasound to check her growth- and we will either be having a baby next week or the week after. I cant believe she is going to be here soon!

Here are Sam and I today- 36 weeks
