Cousins!

So my sister and nieces are out here for the week visiting from Minnesota!

Sam was SO happy to see her cousins again! Yesterday my parents had a BBQ (although it POURED so we were all stuck inside) and a lot of our family came in to see my sis and the girls since it has been so long since they had been out here. 

It was SO much fun! It took the girls a couple minutes to warm up to eachother, but pretty soon they were all running and laughing and playing. :)

The girls all did little performances for us. They would get up and sing a song and then we all had to clap. It was so stinking cute! :)

Dance Party!!

It was so fun haning out with them! I am looking forward to spending the week with them! I know it is just going to make me miss them more once they leave, but I will try not to think about that!

P.S. I made Sam's shirt! Isn't it cute? I LOVE how it turned out and it was pretty easy to make! I think I will be making more! I mean, Sadie needs one too, right?! :)

I'm not sure how many of you are keeping up with my craft blog, Living Craftily Ever After, but just in case you missed it over there, here are a couple of the St. Patty's Day decorations I made for the house.

I made this out of a scrap peice of 2x4

And here is a wreath I made by wrapping yarn around a foam wreath and adding felt flowers

Weekend Recap

Ugh. It's Monday again. Boo.

We had a fun weekend though. The weather was gorgeous so we spent a lot of time outside.

Saturday we went to a first birthday party for our friend's daughter.

Sunday we moved out some baby stuff- the cradle and rocking chair- and rearranged the master bedroom.

Now I have some shopping to do :)  Need to get a new shelf and something for a big giant empty wall in the bedroom. Not sure what yet though....

Since Sadie decided to just be a pro at sitting up... that's all she wants to do! 

She even went in the swing this weekend... and LOVED it! Full on giggles and smiles. LOVE this age!!!

Then Sunday night we went on a family walk. Here are the girls all ready to go! (and no, it really wasn't that cold.. but I didn't want Sadie's little head to get cold! Call me paranoid... whatever!)

Happy Monday!  Just thought I would share some random pictures I took of the girls over the past week!

Here was Sam the day before her birthday with cake. And she HAD to have a 'handle', aka candle, in it! And I had to sing to her :)

We had a busy weekend with birthday parties and a BBQ but it was fun! I wish it was longer though, as always!
