Pictures!

I came across a photographer running a one time special for pictures and decided to jump on it! I thought it would be nice for the girls to have one last photoshoot together before the baby comes!





































So these pictures will be the last professional pictures of just the girls! Next photoshoot we do will have a little BOY in them! So crazy!!!! And I have to brag a moment... I made the dresses the girls are wearing in these pics :) I love how they came out! I have been sewing a lot more lately and really enjoy it!!

I have also been working hard on Sadies SECOND birthday party which is coming up next weekend! It should be a blast!!!  I can't wait to see her reaction to the special party we have coming- a petting zoo and pony rides!!

Summer!

Once again its been awhile since I posted! We have been busy enjoying the warm weather and soaking up the sun! We've gone to the pool quite a bit and both girls are starting to really love the water! 

Over Memorial Day weekend we went camping with some friends up to Lake Isabella. It was so much fun and Sam has really grown since last year! Last year I had to force her to get on the boat and have fun, this time she LOVED the boat and even drove it!!  I love watching her grow and come out of her shell!!

We have also transitioned the girls into sharing a room. It has gone much smoother than I thought it would so thats been a plus! The girls love playing in their new room together and even sleep pretty well in it! We had to do some redecorating since it was just Sams room before, and of course they chose Princess decor! I have to say its not my favorite, but the girls love it so I am dealing with it :)

And of course Sam wanted a new Princess bow holder so I had to make her one of those too!

And of course I am just chugging along in my pregnancy! I am just over 20 weeks now and we found out a couple weeks ago we are having a BOY- Sawyer Michael- this time! A little shocking since we are so used to girls and pink, but it should be fun to mix things up a bit! The girls are very excited to meet baby Sawyer. I don't think Sadie really gets what the baby in my tummy means, but she will soon enough! And Sam is just so excited and tells me everyday that I have to share baby Sawyer and let her hold him too! So sweet! Here is my 20 week belly pic!

Hi Again!

Hey everyone! It has been a LONG time since I posted! There have been some big changes in our family I dont even think I have shared yet!

Yep! Baby Surprise is on its way due to arrive early Novemeber! I am 14 weeks along now and just now starting to feel like a human again! Here I am today at 14 weeks 3 days along!

In other news, we went to Lake Arrowhead with our friends Keith and Lindsey and the kids a couple weekends ago. They also have 2 girls so its always fun to get together with them!

We had a great weekend away with our best friends! Now that it is summer we should be doing more, so hopefully I will be able to keep this updated with pics of all our fun!

Sam's Disneyland Birthday Bash

Sam's birthday bash at Disneyland actually took part on 2 seperate days. We went on her actual birthday and had a whole day planned. She had an appointment with the fairy godmothers to get her hair and makeup done and a brand new princess dress. And then we had lunch reservations with all the princesses! It was going to be a great day!

Until.... we woke up. I woke up at 2 that morning with some sort of stomach bug. Poor Sam had been battling a bug all week. I was determined for her to have a good birthday though so we tredged on and headed to Disneyland.

Well, there was just no way I could make it through the day. I could barely walk. And it was obvious Sam wasnt feeling all that great either. Tai and I had decided that after lunch we would go home and let the girls stay with my parents to enjoy their day.  But before we could even get to lunch, Sam threw up all over her new princess dress :(  So we decided to head home.

She did get turned into a princess that day so here are some pictures from that!

So now flash forward to yesterday. We went back to Disneyland and were able to finish our birthday plans! She got to have lunch with the princesses and I dont know if I have ever seen her smile so big! She had the best day ever!!!!!

Before lunch we spotted the princesses giving autographs... she wasnt so sure of them but wanted to stand and watch for a couple minutes

When we got to lunch Ariel was there to greet us. And to our surprise Sam walked right up to her and gave her a giant hug!

Since we didnt go back to the fairy godmothers this time, I did her hair that morning. I think it turned out pretty cool!

SO while the first trip on her birthday did not turned out as planned, it is safe to say she still had an amazing fourth birthday at Disneyland- just a couple weeks later!!!!
