This weekend we discovered Sam has a new obsession. It is her bathing suit. She HAD to wear it all day everyday. The first thing she asked for when she woke up was "bathing suit on". She must get this from her cousins... because Kylie and Nikki are always in their bathing suits too! The funny thing is Sam is not really a fan of water! LOL! But we did make some progress this weekend and she at least got into her pool. She just stood there and walked around, but hey- at least she was IN it. :) At one point she fell down and the look on her face was a mix of utter terror and total disgust that she was wet... I couldn't help but laugh at her a little!
We had a great time just relaxing in the backyard, BBQing with friends, and lounging around. Yeterday we did tackle the garage though... and I must say- we had a lot of crap in there considering we just moved in 6 months ago! LOL! And Sam of course was the perfect helper while we were cleaning. I moved a box of bandaids, Sam unpacked them all over the floor. Tai put a bag with left over party favors down, Sam emptied them and took half of them with her.... you get the idea. :) Cleaning with a 2 year old doubles your work! But she had fun, and thats all that matters- right?
Let Summer begin!!! (just don't make it TOO hot of a summer... I am growing by the day and don't want a $300 bill for AC running 24-7! LOL!)
The POOL!
I *thought* I would be able to blow it up. Yeah right. We decided to wait until Tai got home to use the air compressor. But while we waited, Sam wanted to try to blow it up
So- we waited and played
And Sam discovered the lizards. Our back wall always has lizards on it and Sam just noticed them. And now she tells us everytime one is there. "I see lizard". And when she tries to catch one and they run away- she gets mad and yells "Where'd it go??!!"
Then I heard the icecream truck. So we went running inside and grabbed some money... but there was no icecream truck. He must have been on the other street... Sam really wanted to go get an icecream (and we did, the next day. I saw that truck and grabbed Sam and we went running to meet him! She had a hard time deciding what she wanted and ended up choseing a spiderman icecream because the other little boys there did.)
And my lil princess- hehe! She thought she was so funny. She pulled her pants down and yelled "tushy" and ran away laughing. Silly girl! :)
